If one looks into the various ‘hardcore’ gurus, sages, adepts, teachers and master from the true Wisdom Schools, their essential message is the one and the same: that one should seek to know one´s true nature which can neither be found nor seen in this illusory realm known as duality.

What one is seeking is that which underlies, the realm of duality. This underlying realm beyond duality is the true and original one. It is what could be called home; it is YOU and it is the Truth.

 

That´s why one never will see real and true gurus, adepts and sages from the authentic Wisdom Schools of the world engaged in areas such as politics, as one example. 

 

Most of these kabirs, masters and teachers take what could be seen as a passive and impartial position in the world and its state of affairs. These ones are quite aware of what is going on in the world and are also aware 

of the spiritual aptitude of the majority of humanity.

As it has been for eons, the method that has been employed for dissemination of truth is through oral tradition and through various forms of literature. This has not changed. The student will find a teacher when the student is in truth ready to receive and has begun to be aware of his/her own illusions and limitations. He/she has finally managed to wade through the cesspits of spiritual drivel and new age fantasy. Thus, the seeker becomes a student when he/she, in truth, is ready to receive and as such, has managed to develop a certain discernment and patience.

It has been expressed by many sages and teachers from the Wisdom Schools that this teaching takes eons to comprehend and ultimately complete. It´s not just the moment that the student meets a teacher that counts here. No, the entirety of all the life-displays one has had or will ever have, will eventually take one to the level of a true seeker so that one then can become a true student. Last but not least, one has to master it. This means that one has come to know the truth and one is finally set free. This truth is in every man and everybody has the potential to come to know it in full, and to attain it so one becomes one and the same as this truth.
